Wings of Growth CIC is here to support families and individuals in London and nearby areas, as well as reaching a broader audience online.
Wings of Growth CIC is a Black-led grassroots organisation supporting children, young people, and families from underrepresented and underserved communities across London , with a focus on East and North London. We create culturally safe, trauma-informed, and joyful spaces where individuals and families can heal, thrive, and grow. Our work centres lived experience, community voice, and long-term change.

We continue to develop a diverse, sustainable funding model to ensure long-term impact.
Wings of Growth CIC is proudly funded by the UNLTD Awards, the National Lottery Community Fund and Sport England — supporting our mission to create inclusive, healing, and joyful spaces across London.
We are committed to tackling systemic inequalities, promoting social mobility, and building stronger, more resilient communities. Our approach is intersectional, co-designed, and community-rooted. We believe in unlocking growth at every level: personal, collective, and structural.
We aim to create a welcoming environment where individuals, families, and community members can thrive. All of our programs are free and accessible, especially for those facing economic or social challenges.

Regular support sessions are designed to help families address mental health challenges and share coping strategies in a safe, supportive space.
Our Life Skills Workshops are designed to empower community members of all ages by offering sessions on budgeting, financial planning, cooking, time management, and home organisation.
We provide meditation, yoga, and relaxation technique sessions, which are designed to reduce stress and promote mental well-being for both parents and children.
During workshops and other activities, we offer crèche services where children can enjoy storytelling, crafts, sensory play, music, and movement activities. This ensures parents can fully focus on their own personal development.
Our specialised services include therapy sessions, inclusive play activities, and support groups for parents of children with special needs.
Family-oriented events such as picnics, sports days, and community service projects help strengthen the bonds within the community and create a sense of belonging.
Wings of Growth CIC encourages parents and community members to contribute to the development of our programs and take on leadership roles within the organisation. This fosters a sense of ownership and engagement.
Wings of Growth CIC is delighted to be awarded by UnLtd in recognition of our grassroots impact and future potential.
This award will support the growth of our community programmes in 2025 and beyond.
